Thistlefield Plants & Design, originally, Thistlefield Plants was established in a field in Norfolk, which was overrun with weeds and thistles, hence the name. A nursery was set up growing a range of plants, mainly perennials from the everyday varieties to the more unusual. Later that year the landscaping side of the business was established. Over the years the business has grown. The design and landscaping is now the largest side of the business, although we still run the nursery, it is on much smaller scale, only growing the plants we need for landscaping projects and show gardens. In 2015 the business expanded further when we designed our own range of woven fencing, which we have had many happy customers. We were pleased to be asked to install our Norfolk Woven  Fencing on one of the gardens, of Alan Titmarsh’s, Love your Garden programme on ITV in 2016.  
Over the years we have designed many displays and show gardens. Initially, we teamed up with Mark Reed a local sculptor to help design and supply plants for his displays at the RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows and won awards at both shows in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Then in 2010 we built our own first show garden at the Sandringham Flower show, winning a Gold medal and Best in Show. Since 2010 we have designed and constructed ten show gardens winning 10 Gold medals, 4 Best in Show and 3 Peoples Choice Awards.
